My sister Kim kicked my tail getting my mother's retirement party together...I can say now I will try to avoid planning any future events with her.
The party turned out well. I think the place was too big for the number attending, but it was still very nice and my mother was suprised. If I can figure out how to put a video on here, I show you how the "old people" do the electric slide-couldn't figure it out, maybe sweet Dallas will help me!?
My mother has been teaching for 32 years and decided she wanted to rest. You would think...GREAT! free babysitting...but nah...my mother doesn't play that. Even though Kennedy goes to my parents house on Monday and Tuesday, my dad is still her main care giver. I will say my mother seems a bit more
relaxed...maybe that's going to be her new style.
We had a DJ, which we're using for the wedding too, and I think he did a good job. I'm glad I could meet him and see his work before the wedding...speaking of which...
I got the invitations! I love them. They needed just a touch of assembly, but I've already completed the 100 we're sending out.

Haha! Go to www.dropshots.com and upload it there. That's how I do it. Very easy.
Glad your Mom had a good party!
I'm also VERY glad to see new pictures up!!
