My sister called the other day and told me she has an instructional "book" that tells you how to make hair bows step by step...so I said...cool.
Yesterday I went and picked up the tiny 3 ring binder and looked at the supplies and headed to walmart. I made one purchase that cost .97 cents.
Tonight I went to work...and after flipping back and forth from chapter 24 to 7 to 12...I completed my first hair bow!
I'm thinking about adding these to the site and selling them in 3's...(corrdinating colors/patterns) and then a free hair bow for each bow keeper sale? Tell me whatcha think...or maybe just run a promotion that says every bow keeper includes a free hair bow...

That bow looks awesome! I think it's a cool idea to throw in a starter bow for your bow holders. But I'm not a mommy, so maybe my vote doesn't weigh as heavily!! :) My mom used to make these big bows for me back in middle school. They involved big metal clips and hot glue I remember. I was totally stylin'. :)
HAHA!!! MArci had the poof hair bows, I remember well. :) I think you did a great job, Jana. I'd say run a "special" next month, a free bow with every bow keeper purchase. Oh...I've got another idea..I'll email ya.
Fabulous. I think the free bow with purchase thing sounds good. If that helps w/ sales, then you could do the 3 bow thing.
Dallas- you know you wore those big poofy bows too. =) Jana- great idea! I like the idea of a free bow with the purchase of the bow keeper. I also like the 3 bows sold in a set. I'd buy them for Miss Addison!
