Happy Father's Day to all the great Dads out there!
Last night I got feed up with my hair so I washed, conditioned, blowdried, straighted, curled and then set on the old fashion sponge rollers...since I haven't gotten dressed yet (it's 2:30pm), I have no idea what it looks like. What I can tell you is I started around 8pm and didn't finish until after 1am....now that's crazy.
I got up this morning at 6:30 to make a breakfast feast...I hope everyone enjoyed...I then took a nap until 1pm.
I took some cell pictures along the way, but they showed my splottish face to well, so I deleted them. I'll try to take one today after everyone gets dressed. My middle sister is in town and she must be obsessed with Kennedy wearing bows - I've made her three sets in two days. Since I like making them, it's not a big deal. I'll include a picture of the one she is wearing today - mind you I got a text message instructing me to make a hot pink or lime green bow to coordinate with the outfit my mom is bringing...
On Friday, my dad celebrated his retirement with a dinner at Canoe. The restaurant will not get 5 stars from me...but at least his company picked up the bill. The food was fine, but the service was questionable. Everyone was there including a few extras. I felt like complete A$$ so I really didn't have that great of a time...and since my mother insisted on my wearing a dress/shirt, I felt everyone could see my swollen ankles and feet. In actuality they weren't that bad...but I think everyone is looking at me all the time.
That's all the gibber gabber I have right now. Here come a few pictures...which reminds me I need to charge my camera up!
Oh! I was able to sit in on Kennedy's "ballet" class on Saturday and the outfit she is wearing was a Marshall's/TJMaxx special from my mom.
Autumn, Kim, Nikki and Kennedy
Well, today's bow pictures will have to come later, because my camera won't turn on - guess I need to charge it!
