Okay, yes I know - it's still early. I'll give this little (large, will discuss further) baby about 3 more weeks and then I'm going to get angry.
I went for yet another ultrasound yesterday and Avery's estimated weight is up to 5lbs 2oz. She still has long legs (which is still funny to me). They say she is in the 50th percentile...I'm use to hearing below the 5th percentile so all of this has me a bit anxious. In actuality, Avery is growing at a wonderful rate and everything looks great. My blood pressure is excellent so that hasn't been a concern. Personally, I think I'm out of the woods regarding pre-clampsia. Now, I wonder, what did I do the first time around to have such a little baby? I feel like I haven't been the best incubator this time around - with Kennedy I was walking every morning and for some reason was turned off by sweets...not this time around! I'm still not eating very much at one time, but my diet is surely worse than it was with Kennedy. Who knows...
As I'm sure you could have predicted, I have another ultrasound in two weeks. Right now, my regular OB/GYN appointments and Ultrasounds are falling on the same day. My next OB appointment will be a little more invasive as they check for strep B and do some last minute blood work. I'll also be receiving my first "exam" - let's cross our fingers for some dilation okay...!
I'm at work, so I can't pull the pictures from my camera, but Kennedy and I went to Hobby Lobby and they already have out their Fall stuff (it makes me happy to see it!) - so I took some pictures of Kennedy with all the great fall colors! I'll get them up eventually.
